I watched Totoro with my mom and I was inspired to draw this! Instead of an ancient japanese forest I wanted to paint a forest more familiar to me.... I love pine trees
This art piece is also inspired by Bambi, my favourite old school disney movie <3
I'm not very happy with the composition on this piece (SO AWKWARD) and I also think I could have pushed the shadows a bit more, but even if I know those things it's easier said than done to achieve
Overall I'm pleased with how it turned out!!! Painting is fun
Apparently there is a place called Ensamheten in Sweden, which means "The Loneliness". Wouldn't we all love to live there?
